Well, it’s been a fun and interesting Christmas. Why interesting? Probably because I broke my ankle but a few days before Christmas but that’s another post. Of course, it’s been fun since Tee and I had Abby aka Auntie’s Angel for Christmas eve and morning.

Tee aka Kris Kringle was more excited than Abby (and myself) that Santa would be coming. In truth, Abby did not know much about Santa nor the fact that he would be coming to leave presents for her once she fell asleep. Since my sister and her mother’s birthday was just 7 days before Christmas, Abby believed that she would be receiving presents because it was her birthday.

Once Abby was up and running, we began the normal ritual of opening presents and discussing want Santa had left. Now, out of all the (educational) games, clothes and toys that Santa left, 3 items became her favorite…a purse, lip gloss and nail polish!!! Can we say “princess”? She can’t quite say lipstick rather she says “I need my wipps and my nails.” However, she was more than happy to apply lip gloss to any willing taker. It was quite amusing watch her parade around the house putting things into her purse only to take them out 10 minutes later.
